Companies today are trying to keep growth high and cost low. Companies are trying to maximize the efficiency of their spaces in many ways. Using new or used office panel systems instead of traditional furniture can be one great way of achieving this goal.
Office panel systems, or office cubicles, are a great way to maximize space and grow efficiently. Panel systems have long been used in larger areas for clerical, sales, and administrative functions. However, there is a clear trend toward using panel systems in executive offices. Some forward thinking companies are even getting the executives out of the offices and into cubicles where they can be on the front lines with the other employees.
The reasons for this trend are clear. Despite Dilbert’s dislike for office cubicles, they really are the most efficient way to seat employees. Not only do office panel systems connect together, thereby taking up less space and utilizing less components; they also have more usable space than desks. Office cubicles have the ability to utilize vertical storage space through the use of shelves, cabinets and paperflow. Office panel systems also allow you to store and place items right up in the farthest corners, giving you more usable space than desks. Executives appreciate the extra space that comes from having an office panel system in their offices.
Office panel systems are more durable and more flexible than traditional desks. High quality cubicles can be reconfigured time and again with little damage or wear and tear. Desks can become scratched, gouged, or broken with frequent moves or occupants. The options for reconfiguring are few, particularly if you have a left or right handed return. Desks typically do not have built in electrical components. This can mean that cords, wires and cabling are in plain view.
Whether you choose a new or used office panel system you should find that your office environment is more pleasing and more efficient.
